ALL SALES ARE FINAL- NO RETURNS

A shortened, more lightweight alternative to our best selling Lila gown. All of our labor and postpartum gowns are designed with actual labor in mind by a Labor and Delivery Nurse and Doula. These gowns are intended to provide accessibility to your medical team, while still being stylish and comfortable for you.

Some features of this gown include:

• High-quality, butter smooth, stretch material - Did you know, for some women, sensations are experienced differently in labor? A texture that may feel fine normally can become irritating and distracting during labor. The material used for this gown has been hand selected to be soft enough to keep you comfortable throughout.

• Low back - perfect to provide accessibility for epidural placement and/or massage.

• Opens at the belly - Most labor gowns you’ll find don’t open in front at all, meaning the cords from your fetal monitors will hang down in front of your legs which can be annoying and distracting. Our labor gowns open down the middle of your belly so you can string the cords up with your portable monitoring system and keep them out of the way and out from under your feet.

• Two inside ties - Did you know one of the most common complaints from women after they have given birth is that their privacy was invaded? Most labor gowns that offer a similar level of accessibility are skimpy and revealing. Our gowns are made with things like 3/4 sleeves, and two inside ties to keep your gown closed while not sacrificing accessibility.

• Opens at the chest - The front of this gown opens completely at the chest for skin to skin immediately after birth, and because sometimes that happens quickly or unexpectedly there are no knots to untie or changes of position required to give complete and immediate access to your chest for skin to skin and breastfeeding.

• Matching Baby Swaddle Set - How can you miss the opportunity to match with your baby? Our Lila gown can be ordered solo or as a set. Simply add a matching Baby Swaddle Set to your cart and use code BUNDLE50 at checkout to get the matching Baby Swaddle Set for 50% off!

Doesn't fit well

I think if it was a halter it would be more comfortable. Also for a dress so expensive, you'd think the buttons would match the color of the dress and not just stand out. I probably won't be wearing it to give birth or ever for that matter

Hi Ali,

We’re sorry to hear that the Juliet gown did not meet your expectations. The model you purchased is currently a clearance item and is being discontinued, as our owner is working on a redesigned version. We hope you’ll consider giving us another try in the future.

Few flaws but super comfortable

I absolutely loved this gown, the fabric is so soft and it was so easy to move in. I loved how they could easily access the monitors without having to flip up my whole robe. Only downside was that it wasn't low enough for the epidural so they made me change out of it. Because the shoulder straps are a continous loop without buttons/clasps, they had to unhook my IV for me to change in and out of the gown. I wanted to change back into the gown after the epidural but since it was such a hassle with the IV, I was unable to. Would still buy again no question, was so nice to be comfortable during my 41 hour labor!

Beautiful but not for me

The shoulder straps wouldn’t stay on. Must have bigger shoulders than the models do on the site.

Birthing gown

I love the material but the shoulder straps keep falling down

Being on the plus size side of everything… I normally wear a 2x pre pregnancy. I would have thought the curve would have fit nicely. I was wrong… it was loose and baggy. It was however still comfortable, but it was not ideal. Honestly I didn’t even wear it for birth and wore it during my first few week’s postpartum. Would have returned if I wouldn’t had forgotten about it. I wouldn’t size up.
