TENS UNIT User Guide

Step 1: Set Up Your Device

Your Lila Labor TENS Unit has 2 separate channels that control two sets of pads.
To connect:

1. Plug both wire sets into the TENS unit
2. Attach the wires to the adhesive pads
3. Apply the pads before increasing the intensity

Each channel can be adjusted separately, allowing you to customize the stimulation level on different areas of your body.

Step 2: Place Your Pads

Most users prefer placing all 4 pads on the lower back for labor support.
Recommended placement:

2 lower pads placed on either side of your lower back

2 upper pads placed slightly higher and wider apart

Avoid placing pads directly over the center of your spine.
Adjust placement as needed to find what feels best for your body.

Step 3: Adjust Your Intensity

Slowly increase the intensity level until the sensation feels very strong but still comfortable.

A helpful method:

1. Increase until it feels almost too intense
2. Lower the setting down one level

The sensation should feel:

✓ Strong

✓ Noticeable

✓ Comfortable

It should not feel painful.

Step 4: Use BOOST During Contractions

The BOOST button gives you extra support when you need it most.

When a contraction begins:
 Press BOOST once

When a contraction ends:
 Press BOOST again

Using BOOST only during contractions helps maintain the effectiveness of the stronger stimulation.

Tracking Contractions
Your Lila Labor TENS Unit includes a built-in contraction timer.

How it works:

1. Press BOOST at the start of a contraction — timer begins
2. Press BOOST when the contraction ends — timer continues
3. Press BOOST again at the next contraction — timer resets
This allows you to easily track the time between contractions.
